Erebus Shenanigans and 2009...

Huge ice crystals on the walls of a cave

Well, a selection of pics from the last ten days or so on Mt Erebus. The weather was fantastic again after Christmas and we had a great New Year in the sunshine! Happy new year to anyone who's watching the blog. Hopefully this installment will be as good as the rest - after lacking time to take the usual amount of photos in the early season things relaxed a little and I got the camera out more at last. And what a place to photograph.

On another note, Matt Zimmerer had a fall into some rocks on New Years eve and saw in 2009 from his bed! Get well soon Matt and I hope everything is back to normal soon...

New Zealand next, hiking, flying and enjoying the southern summer at it's best before returning to a dark, grey, wet and cold blighty...
